Fair Goers:

1. BIG thank you to those getting résumés to me! Keep it going!
2. BIG thank you to those getting résumés on the Fair site (mnpcfair.org)! We are at 71 – which is better – BUT we should have a 100 there!
   1. Remember – we want Gusties to look like eager, well – qualified candidates – because you ARE!
   2. Employers will be looking for Gusties at Fair if they see a lot of your résumés on the site.
3. Thank you to the 20 who have Joined the Prep Party Event on Handshake. If you do only one thing to get ready for Fair – GO to the Prep Party!  And, let us know so we can have enough alums for mock interviews.
4. NOW is the TIME to:
   1. Get your MOST professional clothes together for Fair – comfortable shoes included
   2. Figure out how and when you are getting to the fair…..if you need assistance with this let me know – CAREER DEVELOPMENT IS NOT TRANSPORATING ALL OF YOU! Thankfully the Diversity Center is sponsoring a van to the event – but space is limited!
   3. Review the employer list – especially look at employers you don’t recognize – like Buyers Support – check them out!
   4. Send your résumé and letter to employers of interest to request an interview at the Fair.
   5. Print out the schedule page attached to this message to start scheduling your Fair day.
   6. Prepare your introduction – what you will say when you walk up to employer booths (and practice at Fair Prep Party).
   7. Prepare for interviews! Use InterviewStream and other resources.
