Fair Goers:
1. Now is the time to upload your résumé to the fair website at mnpcfair.org. Employers will be starting to look at candidates and I want them to see lots of Gusties!
2. Now is the time to be reseraching the employers who will be at the fair – this WILL take MUCH more time than you think! Especially look at the employers you have never heard of – they often have great opportunities.
3. Remember the phone app MNFC Career Fair plus – is a great tool.
4. If you are planning to use the Hilton fair room rate of $105 – the deadline to reserve those rooms is Jan. 14. Use the code MJF to get the special rate. The phone number is: 612-376-1000.
5. If your résumé is approved on GustieJobs, you should have gotten the fair booklet by email. That has the sample pre-select letter in it. You can start to send letters and résumés asking for interviews at the fair now!
6. Tell your friends that this Friday is the deadline to register for fair at the $10 rate.
