Fair is tomorrow! Plan to be at the Convention Center by 8 a.m.
The Convention Center is a public place; do NOT give your resume to people in the Convention Center if it is not clear that they are an employer with the fair. You can say, I will stop by your booth to drop off my resume.
Be sure to get business cards of the names of employers you talk with at fair. Career Development will NOT have the names of all representatives (they come and go throughout the day.)
Career Development staff will be at the Gustavus registration table throughout the day. You can return there if you have questions.
It looks like the roads should be ok for both Wednesday and Thursday, do keep an eye on that.
If you have Thursday interviews, do wear your name tag.
Please recycle your fair name tag when you are done at fair.
I will be at the fair on Thursday, but I will be a meeting most of the time I am there. Please ask other fair staff for assistance if you need help.
Do plan to follow up with thank you notes for those you interview with or those you have a strong interest in connecting with.
Some employers I find interesting are: Tru Vue, McLagan, Buyers Support Group….look at employers you don’t recognize – they sometimes have awesome opportunities.
I suggest an early night tonight so you are well rested tomorrow.
