I suggest you tell the students that they are fantastic!  
I know that, you know that, their professors know that and the students know that BUT they need to make sure the interviewers know it as well. 

 The students need to be able to share good, rehearsed personal stories that illustrate their strengths and experiences during each interview.  Finding a job takes more effort than just sending out resumes and showing up for interviews…it’s almost like playing an individual sport.  Practice, practice, practice!
