Fair Goers:
Fair Prep Party – Wednesday, Feb. 13 in Alumni Hall from 6:00 – 8:00
- 15 Alumni from Cargill, Federated Insurance, Northwestern Mutual Life, Target, Securian, Cigna, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and SPS Commerce will be here to help you get ready for Fair!
- Practice wearing your suit if you like – or at LEAST business casual. Bring your resume. Practice your introduction (elevator speech) with alumni and participate in mock interviews. All in one night on campus! In the past some candidates have gotten job interviews from the contacts they made at this event!
- There is no cost – but I would love to know if you are planning to attend to so we can plan accordingly. Just email back and tell me if you plan to attend the Prep Party.

We have 84 resumes on the fair website at www.mnpcfair.org – this is great! St. Thomas only has 74! Keep adding resumes there!

There continue to be issues with uploading some resumes to GustieJobs. If you uploaded your resume but did not get a message that is was approved….go in and look at your documents. It is says “error”. Delete the error resume. Save your resume as a pdf and upload the pdf to GustieJobs….so I can approve it.
There are now 150 of you registered for fair. 43 of you do not have your resumes approved on GustieJobs. I really want to help you with your resume! Please post it so I can review it and make sure it is ready for employers.
. Now is the time to get your MOST professional clothes together. This means suits for all!
. Now is the time to make arrangements for traveling to the fair. Again, you need to make your own arrangements. And, I encourage you to consider staying in the cities the night before (Tuesday night) so that you have less stress getting to the Convention Center on Wed. morning. Plan to be at the Convention Center by 8:00 a.m.
