- We will be taking video at the fair to create a new video for the website. We are looking for students willing to have their practice introduction recorded and answer questions like what are on the video now on the fair webpage at www.mnpcfair.org. If you are willing to do this – please let me know.
- Great Question: what if you are interested in a company but the website says they are not doing interviews at the fair? Answer: Yes, send them a letter and resume saying you are very interested in the organization and will plan to stop at their booth at the fair and if they decide to do interviews at the fair, please contact you to schedule an interview time. Employers may not bring enough staff to the fair to do interviews. But, if they get lots of interest from great candidates they could change their minds. Or, they could invite you for an interview at their offices before or after the fair.
- You should now be reviewing the employer list and sending letters and resumes to request interviews at the fair. The sample letter is in the fair registration booklet that was emailed to you IF your resume is approved on GustieJobs.
- Remember you upload your resume to 2 sites: GustieJobs and www.mnpcfair.org.
- If you have friends who have not yet registered for fair – there is still time. Until Feb. 1 candidates can register at the $25 rate. They should contact Center for Servant Leadership to do this.
- I have learned that the block of hotel rooms we had at the $91 rate are now full.
