Here are some photos from the Mayo Innovation Scholars Program (MISP)  Orientation.
Four Gustie students (Dawn Comstock ’13, Anna Nelson ’12,
Kyle Radtke ’13, and Anna Swenson ’12) along with Biology Professor
Sanjive Qazi visited the Mayo Clinic on Friday, October 28th to tour
the facility and meet with the program coordinators.
According to the MISP handbook, “The Mayo Innovation Scholars Program
is a unique opportunity for undergraduate science and business/
economics students along with a small group of graduate students to
research new product ideas and innovations submitted by Mayo Clinic
physicians and professionals… Teams of undergraduate and graduate
students are given a product or innovation in development at Mayo
Clinic to research; they also assess and analyze its market viability
and potential applications. The Program culminates with team
presentations of their findings and recommendations at
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. in March.”
