Congratulations, Gusties – you made it through your first week of class and life on the hill is back in full swing. In the Career Center, we couldn’t be happier to see the campus buzzing with the excitement of a new year.
As you begin thinking about your goals for this year, consider how the Gustavus Career Center can help you. Maybe this year you’d like to explore a career or complete an internship. Maybe you feel that you’d like to change your major. Or, maybe you just need someone to talk to as you begin preparing for life after Gustavus. Whatever your goals are, our staff is here to help you with your career development needs. And, contrary to popular belief, the Career Center has resources for students of all ages—not just juniors and seniors!

Our Health Professions page is newly updated and can answer your questions about pre-requisites, entrance exams, and the application process. We have also partnered with the University of Minnesota and are also offering free online short courses. Gustie Jobs (formerly G-Net) is also updated with many job and internship opportunities. Additionally, our website offers great information and videos on creating a resume and cover letter. This blog will be updated a few times each week with advice, stories, humor, and tips on career development.
