The Career Center has three NEW, AMAZING, and FREE resources just for you!  The University of Minnesota Health Careers Center developed three different non-credit “short courses” to help you:

  1. Plan for Medical, Dental, or Pharmacy School
  2. Write Your Personal Statement (and)
  3. Interview for Your Health Program

GAC students can access the Health Online Short Courses by following the registration directions in red.  If you have even considered taking this route, I strongly recommend you take twenty minutes and check the first one out.

They are fun, interactive and filled with incredibly helpful information – much of it coming directly from admissions employees, faculty, and practicing doctors.  I can’t emphasize enough how great these are – my husband is currently interviewing at dental schools, and these short courses saved him hours of searching for information across the internet, along with giving him more direct, helpful advice than he found elsewhere.

They may not be free next year, so don’t delay!
