How’s this for an AMAZING opportunity: Traveling to Sweden or another country for interim, a semester, or over summer to explore the health care system in preparation for a future health career – and have all expenses covered!
Maynard and Elaine Jacobson generously established a Gustavus endowment a decade ago to give pre-medical students the chance of a lifetime. Each year two students receive up to $2,500 to expand their knowledge and experience of medicine. The large stipend is intended to cover travel and living expenses, and other costs stemming from the experience (it isn’t intended to cover tuition at another University). 
Sounds great right??!
To be eligible, you must meet this criteria:
– Be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursing a pre-medical academic route
– Have a cumulative gpa of 3.5 or higher
– Must complete your application and proposal by Friday, November 6th, 2009 at 4 pm (turn in to Heather Banks in the CC)
– Your experience must be completed by August 2010
